We build with community in California.
We listen to people, work with communities, create with community-benefit organizations and partners, and make data-informed decisions to maximize ROI for our partners. We are building relationships not just making transactions.
We bundle and drive strategic purchases across radio, print, television, digital, influencers, and community-based guerilla locals for public awareness campaigns that are nimble, culturally competent, and targeted. Across billboards along the 99 or in owner-promoted stickers in a Bay Area restaurant restroom, we reach audiences where they are and with messages that build on deep narratives and stories. We build with BIPOC communities and are inclusive of all.
We are responsive to community needs, ask critical questions, and build value for our partners based on their needs. We understand that CoVID-19 has put us in a brave new world that requires creative approaches that are empathetic, create connection, and build on deep narratives and stories within communities. The virus has not infected and impacted all communities equally, so our approaches during this period are informed by a clarion call for equity, while empathizing with traumas some Californians are feeling disproportionately.
We made our mark as a powerful strategic planning-focused media agency that can deliver quick results and make an immediate impact. We set ourselves apart not with rhetoric but by connecting with communities. We led efforts for the 2020 Census by the California Complete County - Census 2020 in radio purchases across the 10 census regions. We are trusted messengers and understand hard-to-reach communities. For us, they are family.
We expanded 2020 Census outreach farther than even the prime contractor to include messaging and outreach in Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Vietnamese, Tagalog and Ilocano, Korean, Persian, Russian, Punjabi, and Hmong. Our work did not end there. We went further. Along with the major communities, we understand sub-niches with communities and even smaller groups in locales, most often missed whether it is the Assyrian communities of Stanislaus County, the Yoruban community of Nevada and Sierra counties, or the Indonesian communities of San Bernardino County. We understand the power of inclusion and building deep relationships through messaging, listening, sharing and engaging with all Californians.
We have worked with Nuna Consulting Group (a public affairs and strategic communications firm focused on Native American communities), as well as commercial firms, including nationally branded products with ethnic markets such as Verka (found at Costco), Comcast, and Mountain Mike’s Pizza. We have developed political campaigns for minority candidates, succeeding in electing some of the youngest BIPOC members in California.
We are not the largest nor the most ‘global’, but we are the most passionate, dedicated and focused on California ‘local.’
